From our Principal.
We at Deans Marsh Primary School are proud of our strong learning community, established in 1875 and built upon every day since.
At Deans Marsh Primary School, we value providing the opportunity for all young people to flourish within our innovative and caring environment, with a strong commitment to Literacy and Numeracy. Our teaching and learning program is implemented by our highly professional teachers and support staff who work in collaborative Professional Learning Teams to provide a stimulating and challenging environment to support all students to achieve success.
Our rich educational program provides students with a wide range of opportunities and experiences and is complemented by our whole school 1:1 iPad program and specialist programs in Indonesian, Music, and Choir, Kitchen Garden, Library, and Art.
Our Year 3-6 camping program and whole school swimming & sports programs encourage strong participation and connectedness to our school. Our well-resourced facilities and attractive play spaces stimulate curiosity, ingenuity, and inquiry in order to foster a spirit of discovery and enjoyment of learning.
Our 3 core values of Respect, Responsibility, and Resilience are reinforced across the school in all that we do and are complemented by the Restorative Practices program, Respectful Relationships, and the Resilience Project.
We are proud of our strong family partnerships and encourage involvement from parents and community members in our many programs.
Staff, students, and families strive together to make Deans Marsh Primary School the best school we can be. On behalf of the staff, students and families, I look forward to welcoming you to our school community.
